Kimberly Rorabaugh Abeyta, Au.D.

Dr. Rorabaugh, originally from Pennsylvania, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and Disorders from University of Pittsburgh in 2007 and her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in audiology from University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and 2011.  She completed her clinical residency at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2011 specializing in adult hearing aids, aural rehabilitation and cochlear implants.  Immediately after graduating with her doctorate in Audiology, Dr. Rorabaugh moved to Newport Beach, California where she specialized in vestibular diagnostic testing, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, tinnitus treatment and fitting extended-wear hearing devices.  In 2012 Dr. Rorabaugh joined our practice here at Hearing Resources and Ear, Nose & Throat & Facial Plastic Surgery Center of Fredericksburg and was appointed to Director of Audiology in 2014.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a Fellow of the American Doctors of Audiology.  Dr. Rorabaugh holds special interest in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, adult hearing aids and the counseling and treatment of tinnitus.

In her spare time, Dr. Rorabaugh enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her two golden retrievers.

Nina Buckley-Ess, Au.D.

Dr. Buckley-Ess, originally from Virginia, received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University in 2011 and obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University's George S. Osborne College of Audiology in 2016. Dr. Buckley-Ess completed her 4th year fellowship at the University of Virginia-Health Systems. While working at UVA she saw a wide range of patients from newborns to geriatrics. She was also able to do rotations at UVA's Children's Hospital as well as Charlottesville ENT. During her time at Salus University, Dr. Buckley-Ess was very active in the Student Academy of Audiology and also served as a committee member for SAA programs for AudiologyNow!, in San Antonio, TX.

In her spare time, Dr. Buckley-Ess enjoys road trips and traveling. She hopes to one day to make it back to Europe and South America.


Dr. Livengood Fredericksburg Audiologist

Lindsay Livengood, Au.D.

Lindsay Livengood, originally from Missouri, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University (MSU) in 2008. She continued her studies at MSU, obtaining her Doctorate of Audiology degree there in 2012. She completed her clinical residency in Mission Viejo, California at Orange County Physicians' Hearing Services in 2012, where she specialized in newborn hearing screenings, diagnostic audiology, adult amplification, and vestibular testing. She then went on to work at the world-renowned House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles and Huntington Beach, California, specializing in adult diagnostics and amplification. For the past 3 years, Dr. Livengood has been living in Hawaii and working at a large private practice, Family Hearing Aid Center, where she specialized in VA contracted hearing tests to help veterans and active duty service members. Due to her husband's military career, they have now relocated to the Fredericksburg area. Dr. Livengood enjoys all aspects of audiology including diagnostics, amplification, and vestibular. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), where she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A).

In her spare time, Dr. Livengood enjoys traveling the world, outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and spending time with her family and friends.

 

Dr. Williams Audiologist

Mandy Williams, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Ear, Nose & Throat & Facial Plastic Surgery Center of Fredericksburg

Mandy, originally from Virginia, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders from James Madison University in 2011 and is currently a 4th year Doctor of Audiology student at James Madison University. She is currently completing her clinical residency at Hearing Resource Center and Ear, Nose & Throat & Facial Plastic Surgery Center of Fredericksburg. She has previous internship experience in a variety of clinical settings working with children and adults. Mandy is a member of the Student Academy of Audiology and her areas of interest within the field of audiology include pediatric and adult diagnostic audiometry, hearing aids, tinnitus, and clinical research.

In her spare time, Mandy enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and her two dogs.
